NBA Academy – Mumbai

Mumbai, India – The third NBA Academy India was held from October 2-6. The home of Bollywood also hosted the first-ever NBA India game between the Sacramento Kings and the Indiana Pacers.

As an emerging basketball country competing with cricket (the main sport) there are ways to go. However, without a doubt, there is an increased interest and investments made by young players and coaches in India, especially with a pathway to continue academics and athletic careers as student-athletes overseas.
