YOUNGEST PLAYER (2020)
COMPETING IN THE WOMENS FIBA ASIA CUP
Today kicks off the start of the FIBA Asia Women’s Cup held in Bangalore, India (September 24-29). Amongst the veterans in Asia New Zealand rosters the youngest team member and player within the tournament – 5’10 2020 Guard from Waikato Wizards. The guard has already experienced playing at the Sree Kantaveera Stadium at the youth level representing New Zealand at the FIBA Asia U16 and U18 Championships. This isn’t here first experience either at the senior level as she competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games back in 2018 held in the Gold Coast, Australia.
